What's your New Year's resolution for 2009? How did you do with 2008's?
Sungguh ringkas soalan QotD ini, tapi sungguh berat untuk aku membalas. Mungkin tahun ini adalah tahun pertama dalam hidup aku yang kumulakan tanpa sebarang azam. Terasa letih untuk mencoret impian dan resolusi yang sama setiap tahun. Penat. Tahun ini, hasrat aku mungkin hanya satu - hanya satu yang benar-benar aku inginkan: Aku ingin menjadi seorang yang tabah dan berjaya dalam apa saja yang aku lakukan.
Walaupun aku tiada resolusi, namun aku masih memiliki harapan-harapan yang aku harap dapat kujadikan kenyataan pada tahun baru ini. Tak perlulah untuk aku menceritakan apakah yang aku inginkan di sini. Insyaallah, hasrat aku akan tercapai.
What other names did your parents consider for you?
Hm... My name is Wan Intan Adlina. My name is supposed to be Wan Adlina, though my parents also considered something along the lines of Izzara and Akmaliza. Adlina (Adl) means justice in Arabic. Since I am the only girl in the family, Mama wanted to call me Intan (which means 'diamond' in Malay) at home even though my name would not have 'Intan' registered. She wanted to call me 'Intan' as some kind of pet name for me.
So the day my Papa went to register my name, my Mama thought my name would be registered as 'Wan Adlina'. When he returned, though, she said she was more amused than surprised when she saw that he registered me as 'Wan Intan Adlina'.

What do you usually do on Sunday?
Such wonderful question demands an equally wonderful answer, is it not true? Life as a fresh college student with piled up assignments and coursework isn't exactly relaxing. I usually sleep the morning away to substitute for all the sleep that I've lost over the weekdays although the effort seems to be futile, somehow, considering the frustrating noise from the construction site nearby. When I'm awake, I'll spend time surfing the net - blogging (which includes LJing and Voxing), downloading anime/manga, reading various e-zines, participating in forums, making attempts to write essays for my Language Development subject.
What's your cell phone's ringtone? What made you pick it?
My current ringtone is the chorus of "Dream Believer" sung by Masaki Osamu from the Prince of Tennis ending theme song - the 7th and last ending theme of the anime. I simply love the beat, and the lyrics. I feel a strong pull towards the song since I'm a sucker for songs with good lyrics. Sometimes, I alternate "Dream Believer" with "Sakura Kiss", the opening theme of Ouran High School Host Club :)
What was the highlight of this past weekend?
Megasales / Pre-sales. Yes, that's the only thing I could think of because I was not really well (stuffed nose isn't exactly friendly, you know) so Sunday was spent shopping with Khairiyyah like hell in Mid Valley. I swear I could have suffocated myself there. There were just so many people around, local residents and foreigners alike. 30%... 50%... 70%..75% OFF!
No wonder people were pretty crazy there.
My pocket money is always finished, so I have to be pretty careful. I ended up devising a plan with Khairiyyah to save money on food. We'll cook our own food instead of eating out at either Scud or Pak Lang's (though I don't think it's going to work as perfectly as I expect it to be).
What's your favorite drink or cocktail? What's in it?

My favourite drink? Anything that has got to do with coffee: mocha, latte, capuccino, espresso, etc. But my #1 favourite must be mocha, or to be precise, San Francisco Coffee Ice Blended Mocha (they have the 'Buy 1 free 1' deal in Mid Valley for only RM14.95). The Starbuck one is nice too, but the ice melts too quickly. The free (God, I'm stingy!) extra whipped cream is marvellous. I like the creamy coffe-ish feel I get in my mouth. Yum~
What's one thing that you hope to do or accomplish before the end of this year?
I'm hoping to be able to bring myself to save money and control my spending habit. I have the tendency of buying computer accessories and electronic gadgets every month, so I seem to forever be in need of money. In July, I bought a USB LAN card and the LAN cable since my built-in network card exploded some time ago. At the very same day, I was already thinking of stuff I should buy next. Another tendency of mine is eating out at Ayamas, KFC/ McD or Secret Recipe make things worse.
So, yes, the one thing I hope to accomplish before the end of this year is to gain the awareness, motivation and ability to save money.
Tell us a little something about your first
girlfriend/boyfriend.. . . Ha~ I've only had ONE boyfriend in my entire boring life. He was really sweet and caring yet shy in front of other people even in situations in which he had the upper hand. He was hardworking; we used to compete to get the highest marks in class. He was really fun to be with :) My Mom said he has a pair of really beautiful eyes, and I thought so too. Now, we have resolved to being just friends. He's going to pursue his career and I'm going all out for mine.
That's all I could think of.
